Municipal Budgeting Overview

Leigh Griffing

The Mayor gave an introduction regarding the Budget Season for the City.  Leigh Griffing, Finance Director, presented information on the overview.  Please see attached presentation and recording for details. Questions from Council members were posed and answered.

City Council Budget Process for Fiscal Year 2025

Claire Trimble, City Clerk, presented this information.  Please see the recording for specific details.  Onto committee reports.

  Adopt a budget timeline for consideration of the City’s fiscal year 2025 budget including: Public hearing to open on August 5 and concludes by final vote on August 19, 2024, voting on related assessments the same night, with City Council amendments to the executive budget and assessments due by Monday, August 12, and with deliberations on Council’s proposed amendments at Budget and Finance Committee meetings on August 7th and August 14th.
