Eran Pehan, Director of CPDI, provided an introduction to the budget for FY 2025.

Kirsten Hands, Business Manager, went through the presentation for CPDI on their overall budgetary items.

Montana James, Deputy Director, continued with providing information on projected expenditures through various programs.

Walter Banzinger, Deputy Director, continued with information on development services.

Eran elaborated on the new budget requests for FY 2025.

Council member Carlino asked about how many requests for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.  He also asked about the Code Compliance urban camping budget and what services were provided.

Council member Sherill asked about the Johnson Street Shelter and how many nightly stays were had 

Susan Patrick, CEO of United Way of Missoula County, provided information about addressing homelessness and what services can be provided between jurisdictions.  She said that 20,099 nights of shelter to 905 unique individuals, a 14% increase over 2023.

Jill Bonnie, Executive Director of the Poverello Center, provided input on houselessness in the community and to ask City Council to fund the Johnson Street Shelter for another year.
