(Items on the consent agenda were approved in City Council committees to be placed on the consent agenda to save time at Council meetings by voting on them as a package.     Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Pro Sweep for seal coating the parking lots at Fort Missoula Regional Park Phase 2 in the amount of $35,304.00

  • Recommended motion:

    Set a public hearing for May 24, 2021 on a resolution amending the annual appropriations for the City of Missoula, Montana as set forth in the fiscal year 2021 budget and capital improvement program. (3rd quarter budget amendments)

  • Recommended motion:

    Appoint Elizabeth Costello for the Alternate position to the Planning Board for a term beginning immediately and ending on December 31, 2021.

  • Recommended motion:

    Adopt a resolution of intention to annex and incorporate within the boundaries of the City of Missoula a parcel of land located at 3946 Fox Den Court and legally described as Portion ‘A’ of Lots A-1, Fairway View Addition, Lot A-1, Lot A-2 and Lot 3, Fairway View Addition, located in Section 1, Township 12 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., as shown on Exhibit A and Exhibit B, and zone the property Fairway View Addition Planned Unit Development, based on the findings of fact in the staff report, subject to the recommended conditions of annexation approval, and set a public hearing for May 17th, 2021.



(State law and City Council rules set guidelines for inviting community comment in a formal way on certain issues.  Following a staff report on each item, the City Council and the Mayor invite community comment.  During COVID 19, the City Council is holding the public hearing open for a week and then voting the following week, unless there is a requirement for final action on the night of the public hearing. )  

Status:  The public hearing on this item will be held open for a week to take public comment until the next Council meeting on May 17, 2021.  After the May 10, 2021, council meeting, the item will be referred to the Land Use and Planning Committee meeting for discussion on May 12, 2021.

  • Recommended motion:

    Adopt a resolution to amend Article 3, Section 080.7 of the existing Subdivision Design Standards, Missoula City Subdivision Regulations to reflect the proposed language as set forth in the attached Exhibit A “Proposed Amendment Language", amended to include the staff recommended change to Subsection B.

    Amendment to B as follows:

    B.  The sale price of the property being subdivided, documented by a purchase and sell agreement or other executed contract, if it was purchased within three (3) years one (1) year of the date of the final plat application submittal, provided the property’s zoning designation remains unchanged and the sale was an arm’s length transaction.
