(Items on the consent agenda were approved in City Council committees to be placed on the consent agenda to save time at Council meetings by voting on them as a package.     Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign a three-year Geographic Information Services (GIS) Software Maintenance Renewal Agreement with ESRI in the amount of $55,300.00 per year.

  • Recommended motion:

    Confirm the Mayor’s appointment of Debra Parker to the Public Art Committee to fill a vacated term, beginning immediately and expiring on June 30, 2023.

  • Recommended motion:

    Confirm the Mayor’s appointment of John Newman to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee for a term beginning immediately and expiring on November 30, 2022.

  • Recommended motion:

    Set a public hearing on September 27, 2021, on a resolution to authorize submission of Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CDBG-CV) applications for financial assistance to the Montana Department of Commerce.

  • Recommended motion:

    Confirm the Mayor’s appointment of Joe Dehnert, as Alternate 1, and Ryan Morton, as Alternate 2, to the City Board of Adjustment for terms to begin immediately and expire on June 30, 2023.

  • Recommended motion:

    Approve the purchase of John Deere 35G Mini Excavator from RDO Equipment of Missoula, MT for $66,600.00.

(State law and City Council rules set guidelines for inviting community comment in a formal way on certain issues.  Following a staff report on each item, the City Council and the Mayor invite community comment.  During COVID 19, the City Council is holding the public hearing open for a week and then voting the following week, unless there is a requirement for final action on the night of the public hearing.)

(Items listed under Final Consideration have had a public hearing.  The hearing was held open to allow time for additional public comment before final consideration and action by the City Council. The chairperson of the standing City Council committee will make a motion. We invite community comment on each item.)

  • Recommended motion:

    Adopt/Deny a resolution to annex and incorporate within the boundaries of the City of Missoula, two (2) parcels of land as shown on Exhibit A and England Boulevard right-of-way adjacent, located in the S ½ of Section 7, Township 13 North, Range 19 West, and zone the property B2-2 Community Business upon annexation, based on the findings of fact in the staff report subject to the recommended condition of approval.

  • Recommended motion:

    Direct Community Development Planning and Innovation to prepare an ordinance amending Title 20, the City of Missoula’s Zoning Code, in alignment with the presented “HB-701 (MCA 16.12) WHITE PAPER” on marijuana land use regulation and set public hearing process with a November 1, 2021, public hearing at Planning Board, and November 15, 2021, public hearing at City Council.
