Ross Mollenhauer, Utility Project Manager, spoke on the agreement with Neely Electric to upgrade the Wastewater Facility Primary Effluent Lift Station (PELS).  The current PELS pump control communication system is outdated.  Neely Electric is an approved sole supplier for this type of work and has extensive knowledge of the plant System Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.  An upgraded ethernet communication system will give increased capability and reliability.

Mr. Mollenhauer confirmed that Wastewater Enterprise Funds will be utilized to pay for this project.

The agreement with LSA is intended to update the current travel demand model in preparation of the 2020 Long Range Transportation Plan Update.  Mr. Gray stated that all types of streets will be impacted by the update, ranging from arterial streets to side streets.
