Ordinance repealing Title 10, Chapter 10.48, Section 10.48.060 Missoula Municipal Code entitled “Vehicle size and weight regulations—On 23rd Avenue

Marty Rehbein, City Clerk, addressed the ordinance, repealing Title 10, Chapter 10.48, Section 10.48.060, entitled 'Vehicle Size and Weight Regulations on 23rd Avenue.'  Citizen Mark McMillan brought this matter to the attention of City officials.  This is a cleanup provision; the matter of vehicle size and weight regulations on 23rd Avenue are addressed elsewhere in the Missoula City Code.

Reviewing all Missoula traffic regulations would involve considerable City staff time and expense.

  [First reading and preliminary adoption] Set a public hearing on September 9, 2019, on an ordinance repealing Title 10, Chapter 10.48, Section 10.48.060 Missoula Municipal Code entitled “Vehicle size and weight regulations—On 23^rd Avenue—Penalty because the regulations regarding vehicle weights on 23^rd Avenue are covered in other laws and the provision is outdated.
