    Confirm the Mayor’s reappointment of Anthony Moretti, as Architect, and David Gray, as Architect/At-Large, to the Building Code Board of Appeals for terms beginning July 1, 2021 and expiring on June 30, 2024

  • Recommended motion:

    Motion No. 1: Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign a Right-of-Way Agreement with Shannon R. Luikart for the City to construct public infrastructure for the Mullan BUILD Project. Motion No. 2: Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign a Right-of-Way Agreement with Tollefson Enterprises, LLC for the City to construct public infrastructure for the Mullan BUILD Project.

    Award the bid for construction services on the Mount Avenue & South 14th Street West Water Main Replacement Project to Prospect Construction, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $738,966.00 and authorizes the return of bid bonds.

    Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with IMEG for consulting services on Eaton Street Infrastructure Project from 7th Street to South Ave at the cost not to exceed $92,965.00.

    [First reading and preliminary adoption] (No quorum present) Set a public hearing on July 26,2021, and preliminarily adopt an ordinance of the Missoula City Council amending Missoula Municipal Code Chapter 15.66 entitled “Development Impact Fee Procedures and Requirements” to change references throughout the chapter from “Development Services” to “Community Planning, Development and Innovation,” amend 15.66.020 and 15.66.030 to update the definition to “methodology reports” and provide a method for adoption, and amend 15.66.130 to change the membership requirements for the Impact Fee Advisory Committee to conform with state law.

    (No quorum present) Set a public hearing on August 9, 2021, on a resolution levying a special assessment and tax on the lots, pieces and parcels of land situated within Street Maintenance District #1 of the City of Missoula, Montana generally located in the downtown area in the amount of $135,543.00 for the purpose of defraying the cost of flushing and removing street rubbish from streets and avenues in the district during the fiscal year 2022.

(State law and City Council rules set guidelines for inviting community comment in a formal way on certain issues.  Following a staff report on each item, the City Council and the Mayor invite community comment.  During COVID 19, the City Council is holding the public hearing open for a week and then voting the following week, unless there is a requirement for final action on the night of the public hearing. )  

The City Council will hold this public hearing open for one week and will take it up on July 26, 2021, under final consideration.
