(State law and City Council rules set guidelines for inviting community comment in a formal way on certain issues.  Following a staff report on each item, the City Council and the Mayor invite community comment.  City Council holds a public hearing on the item, a member of council makes a motion, and a vote is taken.  The public hearing and vote take place on the same night, unless there is a reason to hold the vote over to a later meeting date.)  

  • Recommended motion:

    Approve a resolution for the 4th Quarter Fiscal Year 2024 Amendments to the annual appropriations.

  • Recommended motion:

    Approve an ordinance amending section 10.54.140 Penalties - Parking violations and section 10.22.260 Limitations on parking in a residential parking permit only area.

    A resolution of the Missoula City Council recognizing the PRIDE Flag as an official flag of the City of Missoula.

(Items on the consent agenda were approved in City Council committees to be placed on the consent agenda to save time at Council meetings by voting on them as a package. The City Clerk will read the list aloud, so citizens watching on MCAT will know what is on the consent agenda. We’ll invite community comment on these items before we vote.)

    Approve the trail easement agreement with changes as presented with Stone Mountain Homeowners Association and authorize the Mayor to sign.

  • Recommended motion:

    Adopt a temporary rule requiring that budget amendments be submitted in writing to the Clerk and Finance Director no later than 5pm on Monday, August 4, 2025, and a vote to open the floor after will require a simple majority.

  • Recommended motion:

    Adopt the Resolution relating to $1,182,000 Sewer System Revenue Bond (DNRC Water Pollution Control State Revoling Loan Program), Series 2025A
