PUBLIC HEARINGS

(State law and City Council rules set guidelines for inviting community comment in a formal way on certain issues.  Following a staff report on each item, the City Council and the Mayor invite community comment.  City Council holds a public hearing on the item, a member of council makes a motion, and a vote is taken.  The public hearing and vote take place on the same night, unless there is a reason to hold the vote over to a later meeting date.)

  Approve a resolution for the 4th Quarter Fiscal Year 2024 Amendments to the annual appropriations.

  Approve an ordinance amending section 10.54.140 Penalties - Parking violations and section 10.22.260 Limitations on parking in a residential parking permit only area.

  Ratify accounts payable (claims) for checks dated May 27, 2025, in the amount of $9,667,568.48.

• Recommended motion:

  Approve accounts payable (claims) for checks dated June 3, 2025, in the amount of $2,583,106.01.

Professional Services Amendment 1 with Morrison-Maierle for the North 1st Street Water Main Replacement

  Approve and Authorise the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Amendment 1 with Morrison-Maierle for the N 1^st St water main replacement project at a cost not to exceed $95,369.00

  Approve the trail easement agreement with changes as presented with Stone Mountain Homeowners Association and authorize the Mayor to sign.

FY26 Council Budget Amendment Rule

  Adopt a temporary rule requiring that budget amendments be submitted in writing to the Clerk and Finance Director no later than 5pm on Monday, August 4, 2025, and a vote to open the floor after will require a simple majority.
