(State law and City Council rules set guidelines for inviting community comment in a formal way on certain issues.  Following a staff report on each item, the City Council and the Mayor invite community comment.  City Council holds a public hearing on the item, a member of council makes a motion, and a vote is taken.  The public hearing and vote take place on the same night, unless there is a reason to hold the vote over to a later meeting date.)

  • Recommended motion:

A resolution granting approval of the City of Missoula Unified Application Round Year 2025, awarding Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to certain organizations, directing staff to negotiate contracts and agreements, and authorizing the Mayor to sign the contracts and agreements with said organizations.

  • Recommended motion:

An ordinance amending section 10.22.240 Parking Commission – Jurisdictional Area Missoula Municipal Code allowing City Council to change the jurisdictional boundaries of the Parking Commission by resolution.
