(Items on the consent agenda were approved in City Council committees to be placed on the consent agenda to save time at Council meetings by voting on them as a package.     Approve three year contract with Anderson Zurmuehlen for audit services in the amount of $283,500.

    Confirm the Mayor’s appointment of Bill Schaff to the Building Code Board of Appeals, as a Master Plumber, for a term beginning immediately and expiring on June 30, 2024.

  • Recommended motion:

    Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign a Construction Management/General Contractor Agreement with Western Interstate Construction to perform both preconstruction design services and construction management services for the 1337 W Broadway Remodel Project in the amount of $1,850 for design services plus ten percent (10 %) will be added to the actual cost of materials, subcontractors and labor to pay for margin, equipment, and overhead.

  • Recommended motion:

    Set a public hearing for August 16, 2021, with final consideration on August 23, 2021, for Resolutions on the fiscal year 2022 Budget, CIP, Resolutions increasing certain fees, Permissive Medical Levy, and the work plans and budgets for the Downtown Business Improvement District, Tourism Business Improvement District, Park District #1, and Road District #1. 

  • Recommended motion:

    Confirm the Mayor’s reappointment of Sandy Mitchell to the City Board of Adjustment for a term beginning immediately and expiring on June 30, 2024 and reappointment of Joseph Suchanic and Don Briggs to the City Board of Adjustment as regular members for terms to begin July 1, 2021 and expiring on June 30, 2024.

  • Recommended motion:

    Ratify the Mayor's execution of the grant award from Firehouse Public Safety Foundation for the requested Polaris Ranger XP1000 NorthStar Crew Premium with Fire/Rescue Skid, Horns & Lights valued at up to $34,578.00 and approve the Memorandum of Understanding to direct purchase such equipment from Grizzly Harley-Davidson in the amount of $34,578.00.

(State law and City Council rules set guidelines for inviting community comment in a formal way on certain issues.  Following a staff report on each item, the City Council and the Mayor invite community comment.  During COVID 19, the City Council is holding the public hearing open for a week and then voting the following week, unless there is a requirement for final action on the night of the public hearing. )

  • Recommended motion:

    Approve/Deny a resolution of the Missoula City Council regarding the 2021 Montana State Legislature’s proposal, debate and passage of HB 112 and proposal and debate of HB 113 and HB 427; finding those actions to be ill-informed and damaging to Montana youth, their families and their community and declaring that the Missoula City Council supports transgender and all LGBTQ+ youth living within our community.
